At Japan day at Fontainebleau, I was home most of the day (it was those job search days, remember?). However, when I went to campus around lunch time I was happy to see the finals of the business plan competition happenning along with some origami being taught in the bar. The origami was pretty basic stuff, if you ask me and I could not resist doing something with the paper they had provided. I made some stuff and put them on the table and told them I could teach these to anybody who requested. And well, the teachers were the first ones who were interested. I did not think much of it till that evening, when I met the Irish-Japanese-Married-with-kids guy who honoured me by saying: “Ah, so you taught the Japanese origami?”.
Life’s little pleasures!
