Here is a tip while using firefox: if you type the website name (without http, www etc) and press Alt-Enter (yes, that — instead of Ctrl-Enter), you can open the website in a new tab.

Neat! And I am proud to have accidently discovered it. All because of a funky finnish keyboard.
